I've spent the last 9 months behind AND in front of the camera filming and editing my own videos and photos, but I'd love more opportunities to just be behind it with other folks as the subject!

If anyone around the Boston area or beyond would like some videos or photos done this summer, let me know! It feels a little intimidating to offer as I don't have formal training and I don't want to be undercutting the real pros, but I'm also looking for more experience and don't feel I can charge typical rates at this point. Basically, if you're a fellow musician/artist who needs some photos and videos a cut above phone quality, I'm happy to negotiate something mutually beneficial!

At the moment I have only one camera (really want an excuse to buy a second!), as well as a lighting set-up, several options for audio recording and mic'ing, and now a gimbal for mobile shots.

Lindsay Straw is a singer, guitarist, and Irish bouzouki player with a passion for the traditional music of the British Isles. Originally from Montana, she began to explore Boston’s Irish and folk music scenes while studying film scoring at Berklee College of Music. With an extensive repertoire, sensitive voice and agile accompaniment style, Lindsay has performed both solo and in ensembles throughout New England and beyond.
