Zoukology

Every year on the first weekend of February, I venture out to Albuquerque, NM to join my friends Ken Gilman, Steve Smith, Anne Luna and Louis Scuderi to host, teach and perform at our bouzouki-centric weekend, Zoukology!

(No, we’re not affiliated with Zoukfest but I can see why you might think that!)

There are daytime workshops rooted in Celtic, Americana and classical music for camp attendees, along with open jams, private lessons, performances, and instrument “tastings.” The Friday night staff concert is always open to the public. Whether you’ve been playing awhile or are newly mandolin-curious, we welcome you to join us for a laidback weekend of music-making and learning!
