Weddings, proposals, parties, memorial services, you name it - I love playing music in every setting. Providing the soundtrack for those big, memorable moments in people’s lives is an incredible honor, and I’m proud to say I’ve had the opportunity to do so hundreds of times for couples and families throughout New England.
Whatever I'm booked for, I always work with clients to curate the perfect folky, acoustic playlist tailored to their tastes and the needs of their event. Here on my site you can find samples and a song list to choose from, plus I can offer suggestions and guide you through the planning process. In addition to popular cover songs, I have a unique focus on Celtic music, singing and playing evocative Irish and Scottish melodies on fingerstyle guitar, and can play a few of the go-to classical pieces, as well.
I am based in Boston and available for events all over New England, throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and Connecticut. I will also consider extended travel to other parts of the Northeast.
I am also frequently back in Montana to see family, and love any extra excuses to go! I can easily accommodate events in Bozeman or Billings, and am open to other locations.
If you’re interested in working with me, I invite you to read my reviews on Google and the wedding sites (links below), but please be sure to contact me directly. Sites like Zola charge vendors to respond to leads and so many “leads” are spam, so the best way to show your genuine interest is to email me directly!
FAQs
What services do you offer?
1
You name it, I’ve probably played for it! But I get booked a lot to play for:
Wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and dinners
Anniversary, birthday, and holiday parties
Corporate events
Memorial services
Proposals
What is your Instrumentation?
2
I most often perform solo, singing and accompanying myself on guitar or bouzouki, or performing instrumental guitar pieces.
I can also coordinate a duo or trio with friends who play violin/fiddle, mandolin, bass, banjo, accordion, concertina, or uilleann pipes.
Do you take special requests?
3
I'm always happy to learn and arrange something that isn't already in my repertoire, just for you! Additional fee may apply depending on difficulty
On a few occasions I have also accompanied a friend or family member who wanted to sing or play during the ceremony or reception.
Do you have liability insurance?
4
Yes! I carry an event liability policy through Insurance Canopy and can provide a COI if you or your venue need to have it on file.
Do you have your own sound gear?
5
Sure do! I have a powerful two-speaker PA system that can handle events of up to 200 people and amplify a whole band. I also have a wonderfully warm small guitar/voice amp that is perfect for quiet ceremonies and smaller events of 75 or fewer, and a small battery-powered amp that is perfect for remote locations where power is inaccessible.

Reviews
“Lindsay's music really took our ceremony to another level. Coming around the corner to walk down the aisle, hearing the first few notes of the song and then her beautiful voice transported me. I walked down the aisle with both of my parents and we were laughing and joking around while waiting. As soon as she started playing the song for us, something changed, we all had immediate tears in our eyes, it was time! That was one of the most amazing moments of my life, and her music was the soundtrack was a huge part of the feeling that I remember."
Kendall & Kevin“From start to finish Lindsay was incredibly professional, kind, flexible and helpful! She even helped give me recommendations for another friend who was looking for musical services for an unrelated event. When the day of the wedding came, she truly helped make the whole day go beautifully and smoothly. Her singing and guitar playing is outstanding and she is very friendly and professional! She was a pleasure to work with and so talented! I will recommend her time and time again!”
Sarina & Nick“Hiring Lindsay for our wedding ceremony on 10/5/18 was one of the best decisions we could have made! Lindsay was so wonderful to work with throughout the whole process, and even went out of her way to learn two different songs for our ceremony which made it so much more personal and special. Lindsay is truly gifted and having her play at our ceremony made all the difference!”
