Zoukology 2026: Jan 29-Feb 1

We’re ever closer to Zoukology 2026! It’s coming up on January 29-February 1 in Albuquerque, NM. We still have a couple slots available - join us for an informal and fun celebration of mandolin family instruments like the Irish bouzouki, octave mandolin, mandola, cittern and more, this year with special guest Frances Cunningham!

Hosted by musicians Ken Gilman, Anne Luna, Steve Smith, Louis Scuderi and Lindsay Straw, camp attendees will have access to lots of small group and one-on-one learning experiences. The weekend schedule includes daytime workshops rooted in Celtic, Americana and classical music, along with open jams, private lessons, performances, instrument “tastings,” and a luthier workshop tour.

Whether you’ve been playing awhile or are newly mandolin-curious, we welcome you to join us for a laidback weekend of music-making and learning!

Lindsay Straw

Lindsay Straw is a Boston-based singer, guitarist, and Irish bouzouki player. A Berklee graduate, she blends roots music from both sides of the Atlantic, combining traditional Irish and Scottish influences with American styles. Performing solo and with The New Grown-Ups and The Ivy Leaf, she has three albums and a rich performance history. Known for her unique take on traditional music, she’s celebrated as a reincarnation of legendary trad singers of eras past.
