Artisan Guitar Show 2025

Next month I’ll be headed down to Harrisburg, PA for the Artisan Guitar Show!

I’m really excited about this one. I first went a couple years ago when I was working at Carter Vintage/North American Guitar, and loved connecting in person with many luthiers for the first time in person. This time I get to go with a few different goals, but it’ll be way more relaxed and social!

Most of the time, I’ll be hanging with Jeff Jewitt at his table, demoing guitars and giving him a chance to make the rounds. But thanks to him, I also got roped into showcasing the work of Noemi Guitars and Wingert Guitars in an official Saturday daytime performance, as well as offering up a little presentation during the Student Outreach youth breakfast. I’m very honored to do both!

Whether you’re a well-established guitar aficionado or you’re new to the boutique world, there’s no better way to get fully immersed than a show like Artisan. The focus is exclusively on handcrafted, small-shop instruments and gear, and you’d be hard pressed to find another place where you could try out such a diversity of modern and traditional-style guitars. Not to mention the performances and masterclasses that further enrich the experience.

Ticket prices range from $15-20 for single day passes to the $110 VIP pass. Learn more and get tickets over at https://artisanguitarshow.com.
