Artisan 2025 Wrap Up

Surprise, surprise, here I am with more beautiful guitars! It's a tough life, but I suppose someone has to do it.

The video above is a smorgasbord of Jeff's latest Jewitt guitars: a 00-14, JJ small jumbo, and OM-12 blacktop. They'll all be available shortly through Eddie's Guitars in St. Louis if you're interested in learning more. Each one was incredibly unique in tone and feel from the other, while retaining Jeff's character despite the varying tonewoods and shapes. Much to my surprise, I might have liked the JJ best! I thought I had converted into an OM/00s only kinda gal.

Jewitt Guitars

I don't have any videos yet from the presentation I did of Kathy Wingert and Noemi Schembri's guitars, but I got some lovely photos from Tim Farrell and Mike Cabassa. Thanks to them both!

With Noemi Schembri

No surprise, but both Noemi and Kathy's guitars were incredible, both as instruments that could stand on their own as soloists and supporting vocals.Kathy is a legend who you might already be familiar with, both for her own stunning guitars and also through her apprentices like the formidable Isaac Jang. Noemi sometimes gets called an up-and-comer, but honestly, I think it's safe to say she's arrived! Several other luthiers very openly said her guitar was one of their favorites in the show. I could not have been more honored (and honestly nervous!) to be on the spot to showcase them.

It sounds like John is already planning Artisan 2026, so bookmark this page and watch out for next year's April dates.
